What a nightmare!!!
It's been a week since some dumb thief robbed me of 1 of my most precious possessions, my Nokia N91...trust me, there's been a big void in my life, that cannot be filled up ever, since then.
I was travelling by that fateful BEST bus to office in the morning.
Sitting on the last seat, second from the window, I was half asleep when I got a call from a relative.
I answered and kept the phone in my hand, as I didn't want to shuffle around in my seat, lest I trouble the fellow passengers.
When my bus-stop was about to come, I got up and slid the phone in my trouser pocket.
It was very crowded and I found it difficult to even reach the rear exit.
Coincidentally (or pre-planned I dunno), the conductor started shouting "Vomit, Vomit, let this woman go to the last seat".
In the hustle-bustle, momentarily, my attention wavered away to the proceedings.
The woman vomitted on the last seat, out of the window.As a result, I tried to look away.
When I alighted from the bus, immediately I realized my phone was missing. I boarded the bus again and frantically started looking here and there.
I asked a co-passenger to lend me his phone so that I could call up on my number.
It was ringing in his speakers but I just couldn't hear it in the bus.
I looked around for a few more minutes and thought I might have dropped it while getting down. I got down at the next bus-stop and went back but I just couldn't find it :(
That's when I realized I made a big mistake of getting down from the bus the second time.
I could have asked somebody to keep calling up while I scavenged the entire bus. I am sure that bloody scoundrel would not have had enough time (and knowledge) to put it on silent mode.
Sadly I went to office and called up on my number from there...and alas! as expected, the RUIM (SIM) was removed. This confirmed my belief that it was gone forever.
I got my SIM card blocked by the operator but my gem was gone!!!
I had a whopping 4GB of my precious data and within seconds, I lost all of it.
I am still kicking myself for not having enough presence of mind but I was so bemused in that situation, I did what came to my mind at that instance.
My entire collection of songs,lovely memories captured in the form of photos/videos and much more was gone. Although time to time, I backed up my songs on my i-pod and the contacts were also recently archived but why did that happen to me??????
I am still cursing that fellow and I pray Satan punishes him severely. My friends say he might be in need of some money, so he stole it and that I should move on. But I am not here to keep donating pieces of my heart to some rogues, am I?????
Now I am back to my Siemens SX1, which is a faily good phone but nowhere near to my N91. If anything happens to this phone, I will have to go in for a new one as Siemens Mobile has been taken over by BenQ and I wont find any spares or service centers.

Hey CeeGee!common yaar its just a mobile yaar. even i lost my cell within a month i purchased, but then I got over it because I dont believe in hurting myself thinking about it again and again. hope u get over it soon :)
