Friends Part 2

Here I am back with a post dedicated to another good friend of mine - Mr. Manoj Harpalani, my class mate for 6 years; in Diploma and Degree both. He is one of the most interesting personalities I've ever met. He is very sharp when it comes to studies and at the same time, he is not one of those bookworms who are just lost in their texts and nothing else. He is as interested in extra-curriculars as anyone else. But 1 quality of his that I find the most inspiring is his benevolence. He is so helpful to everyone that he can even put his interests at stake for the same. He would help somebody when he is not finished with his revisions. We used to call his house a 'guesthouse' because always during our exams, he would have somebody or the other at his place seeking his help. But as intelligent as he is, he never lets his grades get affected.
I especially liked his company in college because he never tried to become a 'yes-man' of the teachers. He scorned the teachers who he didn't like, we used to bunk classes together and we used to have all the fun we could have ever had doing all the time-pass in canteens and out of college. I also like to partially thank my degree college VJTI for not giving us even a single good teacher, because of which we could actually enjoy our engineering college life as students of other streams do.
Also, he has got an amazing sense of humor and can shoot his wisecracks even during the most serious of times. He has gone a tad overboard with those sometimes, as a result of which he's also harmed his impression upon people who matter but then, as I said, he makes that up with his sincerety towards the work that he does.
All in all, he is one of my closest friends and I can safely bet on his friendship anyday. I pray to GOD to keep him happy and grant all his wishes deservedly.
