Life's an open road to me...

The more I say I shall be regular with the updates on my blog, the more callous I become. Hence, from now on, I shall never commit to myself on this front.

Anyways, it's almost been a month since the last post. Many things have happened since. I won the Best Performer of the month award in my project team. The event was organized at 'Zero Degrees', a rather subdued suburban discotheque. The worst part of it was, it was terribly organized...I was completely peeved when they started playing musical chairs in the disc! HAHAHA.....anyway, I was not to be a part of that for long as had to get to another place the same evening.

Next, I went on a tour to Uttaranchal, a beautiful North Indian state, bordering Nepal and China. It was a pleasant breakaway from the hustle of the Mumbai routine. The tour lasted 10 days, and thankfully, this time around, I could pen down a travelogue. My first travelogue, Northbound (2003), was a big hit. And since then, I'd decided to write a travelogue everytime I was on a trip. But my last trip to Far-East Asia was so hectic that I could not. And I really kicked myself for that. Anyway, I'm planning to get a soft copy done of both my travelogues by some offsetter/typist. I shall post them as blog entries later.

After coming back, I had lotsa things to do.
First and foremost, I wanted to follow up on my I20 thingy. Well, it still was showing 'In Process' until 30th. Then, it showed 'Dispatched' on TAMU's website.
Truly, honestly, I'm just losing out on time man. I just have 2 months of my stay in India and slowly but surely, I'm getting those pangs in my heart. And out of those 2 months, almost 45 days would be spent in office. I'm planning to put down the papers on 15th July.
I have so much to do, so many people to meet, so many confessions to make, so many things to say....alas, I'm all down.

I'm keeping this post short as it's too hot in here (The room's AC has become a mute solid since some time now) and I cant' write any more. Maybe, I'll post something more in the evenin'
